Hemlock has never looked this good ....

R. Eno took some of our rough hemlock to make this lovely table. He commented that the grain is distinctive but very pronounced and hard to get completely smooth. It made for a rustic touch. The tapered legs are attached with mortise and tenon joints. The top has end pieces glued and tenoned at cross grain to prevent warping. The finish is an amber shellac /alcohol wash.
